A.R. Rahman

One of the world famous musicians who hail from India, the Mozzart of Madras had to leave school early due to his father’s demise and support his family. He later attended a school called MCN and later joined Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School. He also has a scholarship from Trinity College London to the Trinity College of Music for his professional experience in music.

Shreya Ghoshal

The queen of melody, Shreya Ghoshal, started her schooling at Atomic Energy Central School in Rawatbhata where she studied till the eighth grade. Later, she did her higher studies from the SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Mumbai with a major in English.

Arijit Singh

Well, speaking of Bollywood, how can we not mention about Arijit Singh? He did his schooling from Raja Bijay Singh High School and later studied at the Sripat Singh College which is an affiliate of the University of Kalyani.


One of the most melodious voices ever heard in Bollywood, KK did his schooling from Delhi’s Mount St Mary’s School and later did his graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.


The king of Bollywood remixes and remakes, Badshah completed his schooling from Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura, Delhi. He also studied maths in Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi and later enrolled at the PEC, Chandigarh.

Yo Yo Honey Singh

The controversial rapper who has been one of the iconic figures in the Indian music landscape, studied music at the Trinity School in the United Kingdom.

Guru Randhawa

One of the most celebrated singers in Bollywood in the recent years, Randhawa did his MBA from the Indian Institute of Planning & Management, Delhi.

Sonu Nigam

One of the most melodious singers to grace Bollywood, Sonu Nigam started off with his singing career at the age of four. He completed his schooling from J. D. Tytler School in Delhi and later did his graduation from Delhi University.

Lucky Ali

The singer who won all our hearts with songs like “O Sanam”, “Dekha hain aise bhi” and “Jaane kya dhundta hain”, attended a number of institutions en route to the completion of his educational career. They are St. George’s College, Mussoorie, Convent of Jesus and Mary, Hampton Court, Mussoorie, Manekji Cooper (Kindergarten) (Juhu), Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai, and the Bishop Cotton Boys’ School, Bangalore.

Sunidhi Chouhan

Sunidhi Chouhan did her schooling from Greenway Modern School. She discontinued her education after that and pursued what has been an illustrious career in the Bollywood music industry.
