Since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, there has been a lot of debate over the fact that the star kids get the opportunities in Bollywood easier than the outsiders and they keep getting opportunities even after their failures because of the background they come from.
But, recently an old interview of Alia Bhatt has resurfaced where she absolutely rubbished the theory of star kids having it easy and said that she actually wants to punch people who say star kids have it easy.
Alia said if you don’t deliver good performances, your family, your dad or anybody else can’t help you in that regard. To survive at the top, you have to be a good actor yourself.
“I don’t think your mum, dad, father or chachu can change that or mend that for you. So, I want to punch all those people who say that star kids have it easy because it makes no sense. The way the world is today, either you have it or you don’t,” Alia was quoted saying in the interview.
Alia also insisted that nobody’s journey in the industry is exactly like the journey of their parents. Every individual goes a different path and has to deal with their own issues along the way.
According to Alia, the only thing where she probably has an advantage is that her father has got a lot of experience of working in the industry and she can call him and talk to him if she has any issues regarding her career.
But, Alia said she actually doesn’t call her father to talk about the issues very often and she rather calls Karan Johar if she has any issues as she feels the whole industry is a family in itself and anyone can share the issues with anyone.
