Indian tennis superstar Sania Mirza and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik are one of the most adored couples in the sports world. Their love story is one of a kind as they were heavily slammed when they decided to tie the knot because the relations between India and Pakistan have never been good.
However, now it has been more than a decade that they are living together as husband and wife. The couple is also blessed with a baby boy named Izhaan Mirza Malik, who was born in 2018.
Recently, while talking to a news portal, Sania Mirza talked about the old times and shared some beautiful moments of the two with their fans.
During the interview, she revealed how her relationship is quite enjoyable and also that Shoaib talks more than her. She also revealed that the two used to have friendly banters when it came to supporting their respective countries when they faced each other on 22-yards. She revealed:
“Our relationship is very fun. I think that’s the first time people got to see what it really is. We both like to keep it pretty light, and I think it the first time that everybody got to see he is the more talkative one than I am, contrary to the belief in the world,”
Further, Sania revealed that Shoaib loved playing against India, which is very true as his statistics against India are brilliant. The cricketer has played 42 ODIs against India, where he scored 1782 runs including 4 centuries. His average against India is 46.89 and the top score that he made against India is 143. Sania revealed:
“For some reason, he loved to play against India. So, when we were dating, whenever we spoke about it, I always used to say, ‘I’ll support India no matter what. And then he used to say, ‘My record against India I want to tell you is the best that I have.’ He’s been around for a long time and I think he has had an amazing career. I am really proud of him,”
