When Shahid Kapoor Exposed Nepotism In Front Of Karan Johar

‘Nepotism’ has become one of the most discussed topics in the Bollywood industry lately, especially after the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Netizens are accusing Karan Johar of being the ‘flag-bearer’ of nepotism in Bollywood. Infact, it was Kangana Ranaut, who had directly called Karan Johar the ‘flag-bearer’ of nepotism on his show ‘Koffee with Karan’ back in the year 2017.

However, time and again Karan Johar has gone on record to clear his image from all the misconceptions around him for neglecting talented actors and promoting star kids.

Meanwhile, several throwback videos of Bollywood celebrities talking about nepotism ave been making rounds on social media. In one of the viral videos, a moment from Koffee With Karan has gone viral where Karan Johar had asked Ishan Khatter to state a Bollywood stereotype, which is actually true during a rapid-fire round on the show.

Responding to this, Shahid Kapoor who was sitting next to Ishaan prompted ‘nepotism’ as an answer. To which Ishaan said “I can say it?”, to this Shahid affirmatively replied, ‘Of course you should.’

Later, Karan Johar said that even Ishaan is a product of nepotism, to which Ishaan agreed to it but also said that the existence of nepotism in Bollywood is a ‘reality’.
