Sonu Sood Finally Breaks His Silence On Nepotism In Bollywood

The untimely and tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput has sent shockwaves around the nation. Following his death, Bollywood actors, cricketers, political personalities, and other prominent people around the world, alike, took to their social media and mourn the death of the actor.

SSR’s death has also re-ignited the debate on nepotism, with the majority of netizens blaming Bollywood biggies and star kids for the death of SSR. The latest one to open up about SSR’s death and nepotism is Sonu Sood.

Well, recently, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Sonu Sood opened up on Bollywood biggies getting accused for the death of Sushant. According to him, it is not right to blame one section of people. He said:

“Not right to blame one section of people. It is very difficult for those individuals also to hear someone blame you for someone’s death.”

Giving his take on nepotism, Sonu said:”while people are blaming a certain section for nepotism, they are the ones who have given life to the career of many actors“. Sonu believes that one needs to respect this and let time decide the real culprit.

He added:

people will talk for a few days about Sushant death, but eventually, the debate will fade off. Later, there will be another outsider who will try to make it through the gates of Film City and try his luck in the industry.

Earlier, when the news of SSR’s demise came out, Sonu had posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram account. He wrote:

Not fair my brother. I run short of words to describe how I feel today. You were an achiever my friend and everyone who knew you was so proud of you💔 wish you had stayed at the crease a little longer. Will miss you always bhai…. Always. Today we lost a friend, a colleague & this loss is irreparable. I request my friends from the media not to sensationalise this, I request everyone not to share his last images. A boy who came to this city with dreams in his eyes and achieved so much, has left us forever. Let him rest in peace. 🙏
