During these stressed out times of quarantine where stranded labourers were suffering due to the lockdown imposed by the government in order to contain the spread of the Corona virus, Sonu Sood took it up on him to help these poor people.
He himself organised buses after taking due permission from the government, arranged ample necessities required for these poor people to make it back home and also ensured that proper safety measures were in place to keep himself and others at bay from this virus.
He has also donated 1500 ppe kits to doctors in Punjab. To ease the situation and make arrangements comfortable for the medical staff, he has also opened the doors for doctors and nurses.
His noble acts have earned him several plaudits across social media and a lot of memes have also been shared on him, lionizing his efforts.
Tweets have circulated praising this actor, out of which a few has been comical too.

In one such comical tweet, an user cited, “@SonuSood can u pls help me 2 and half months se mene parlour nahi visit kiya, pls help me muje salon pohcha dijiye 😭😭😭😂😂😂just kidding u r a real hero (nayak) god bless u 🤗🤗👍👍❤️”.
This however, sparked severe backlash on social media as users started calling her out and lambasting her sense of humour.
However, she did clarify that this post was intended only as a joke and she is also in due admiration for Sonu Sood’s herculean effort.
See What Sonu Sood replied:
We have seen how social media platforms have been used and abused over the due course of time. One sloppy post or comment and you are done for the good. Despite this ugly side of those digital platforms, it has still provided ample space for positivity to disseminate and fill people with hopes in these desperate times.
