Laxmi Agarwal Slams Faizal Siddiqui For His Controversial Tik-Tok Video

The video creating application ‘TikTok’ has been making a lot of news these days and because of all the wrong reasons. Lately, a so-called TikTok ‘star’ named Faizal Siddiqui has been accused of glorifying a horrendous crime like an acid attack. A video of him has been going viral on social media where he can be seen promoting the acid attack by throwing water on a girl’s face.

After the video went viral, it received a lot of criticism. He is getting brutally slammed on social media for his video. The video also caught the attention of the National Commission for Women, and they have filed a complaint against him. His TikTok account was also banner.

However, as per Faizal Siddiqui, his intention was not to hurt anyone. Well, he has finally taken to his social media and has shared a long post trying to clear the air behind his intention. In his post, he wrote that he was drinking water and he has thrown the same on the girl. He further wrote that the woman in the controversial clip is a make-up artist and revealed that the two have collaborated before many times. Sharing the post, he apologized to everyone. He wrote:

“My Intention was never to hurt anyone in any Capacity. As a social media influencer, I realize my responsibility and apologize to anyone who was offended by the video 🙏🏻 @ncwindia”

Meanwhile, the acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal took to her social media and lauded NCW for taking a stand against such ‘influencers’ who are spreading the wrong message in society. She wrote:

Thanks to National Commission for Women for taking cognizane of the viral video by TikTok ‘influencer’ Faizal Siddiqui promoting acid attack.Such videos/actions should be strictly debarred which are against the society.
We are working day and night to stop the acid attacks , violence against women. This cringe activity is not called influencing but promoting crime. Such persons are curse to our society.
So it is important to ban such videos and accounts from the social media.
Come forward-we urge you to stop acid violence-Stop Sale Acid”
