Twitterati Slammed Rajdeep Sardesai For Spreading False News To Defame Narendra Modi

On Sunday, people from all parts of India came out together on their balconies to light candles and participated in the ‘9PM9Minutes’ initiative, which was appealed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark the expression of unity and strength, amidst the Coronavirus outbreak.

As the whole country is gripped with the fear of Coronavirus, these 9 minutes brought a sense of hope and togetherness in this tough hour. While the initiative was followed by many out there from commoners to celebrities, on the other hand, there were many who were not happy with the idea of the initiative.

There were many who even tried to spread false news about the initiative. One among them was popular Indian journalist and anchor Rajdeep Sardesai, who took to his twitter and shared footage of a fire accident that took place in Solapur. Though he has now deleted the Tweet, but check out the screenshot of the Tweet here:

A Twitter user named ‘Ankur Singh’ was quick to find out about the whole mess.
