Kunal Kamra Tried To Mock PM Narendra Modi But Got Trolled ‘Royally’ By Twitterati

It was a sight to behold, as the whole world continues to battle against Coronavirus, the people of India marked the expression of unity, hope, and strength. On Sunday, from commoners, celebrities and the people who are not as privileged as us, came out together and participated in the  ‘9PM9Minutes’ initiative, which was appealed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to Indians.

Earlier on 22nd March, the whole country had participated in another initiative where they cheered for the selfless people, who are tirelessly working for us even in this tough time. Both the initiatives were happily welcomed by the people of India, who participated in it and showed it to the world that we all are fighting in this together.

However, there were many who were not happy with the idea of the initiative and tried their best to demean the government by slamming the initiative. One among them was popular comedian Kunal Kamra.

Kunal Kamra, who is more popular for his controversies than his stand-up comedy, took to his social media and took a dig at PM Modi. In his tweet, he suggested the ‘next task’, where he asked people to stop breathing for 12 minutes on 12 April. He wrote:

Modiji agar genuinely India ko corona free karna hai… toh 12 April ko raat ko 12 baje sabko 12 minute ke liye saans rokne ka formula bata dena. Yeh pakka work karega, kyunki corono ko lagega yahan mera kya kaam?”

Well, his Tweet didn’t go down well with the twitterati, who gave it back to him. Twitterati slammed the comedian left, right and centre and also came up with hilarious suggestions for the next task.
