The whole world has been forced to live under the lockdown in order to stop the spread of dangerous Coronavirus, which has affected the whole world. Human life has come to a halt as the pandemic has affected people living in 197 countries. So far, the dangerous disease has infected 1,203,459 people globally, with 64,754 people losing their lives to it.
In India as well, the numbers are increasing rapidly now. The tally of infected people has reached to 3,588, with 99 deaths so far. As the country is under the lockdown for a period of 21 days, there are many people who are not as privileged as many of us and are going through the worst situation.
Meanwhile, celebrities and influencers are making the most of their time on social media, from hosting interactive sessions to sharing amazing posts of themselves spending time indoors. There are many celebrities like Hina Khan, Deepika Padukone, and many others who are constantly sharing pictures and videos of food.
Now India’s ace tennis star has lashed out on each one of them for sharing pictures of food while thousands of people are ‘starving’ to death. Sania Mirza took to her social media and slammed people for posting cooking videos and food pictures. She wrote:
“Aren’t we done with posting cooking videos and food pictures yet ? Just spare a thought – there are hundreds of thousands of ppl, specially in our side of the world starving to death and struggling to find food once a day if they are lucky”
