Twitterarti Reacts As Amit Shah Approves Release Of Big Amount To States To Deal With Covid-19

The capital has taken up the pandemic matter quite seriously and this time their decision seems very legitimate. The State Disaster Risk Management Fund is a central fund where an amount is saved for the states that can be issued in any time of emergency or risked contingency. After the recent rise in the COVID-19 cases, the Centre has released a  hefty sum from the 2020-21 budget in the name of SDRMF.

As per a statement released by the ministry, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with the acknowledgment of the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, has issued a sum of 11,092 rupees for each state under the SDRMF scheme.

It was done to improve and radically work for the quarantine facilities and coronavirus testings after the rising numbers were found in India. It proved to be a good move because given the amount of money for the states it will definitely bring in the change in the health care facilities and provide fast and better results in finding the confirmed cases that require immediate medical attention.

The Home Minister released the first instalment of the relief fund, i.e., 11,092 crores in advance with the propaganda to rapidly increase the funds available with the state governments at the moment for the healthcare setups.

 

This fund is released under the SDRMF scheme only for the sole purpose to set up quarantine facilities, sample collection, and screening of the suspected victims; to set up more testing laboratories and diagnostic tools, cost of drugs and other medicines that are getting used of fast; to buy of protection equipment for healthcare, municipal, police and fire authorities for their personal use; to buy more numbers of thermal scanners, ventilators, air purifiers, and medical items and drugs for government hospitals, as per the statement issued after the meeting.
