Twitterati React After ‘Shaktimaan’ Mukesh Khanna Announced The Return Of The Popular Superhero Show On DD

The entertainment world has come to a standstill, with the shooting of movies and television shows being suspended, all around the globe because of the Coronavirus pandemic. India is currently under lockdown in order to contain the outspread of Coronavirus.

Recently, in order to keep everyone busy and to remind us of the good old days, the Doordarshan channel started re-telecasting popular shows ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’. Now after popular demand from the fans, Doordarshan has announced that ‘Shaktimaan’ will be re-broadcasted on the channel.

Yes, you read that right. Doordarshan is all set to bring back the first-ever superhero show of India on our televisions and the fans are as excited as they can be. And guess, who else is excited about the return of Shaktimaan on the television? Shaktimaan himself.

Mukesh Khanna, the actor who played the role of Shaktimaan in the show, took to his Twitter and shared a video of himself expressing his thoughts about the same.

“Getting to watch two epics of our country ‘Ramayan’ and ‘Mahabharat’ in one day was a matter of great happiness for the 135 crore people who are under lockdown. Sit at home and enjoy. There could not have been a bigger good news”

“But I’d like to add something to this happy news for my ‘Shaktimaan’ fans, that ‘Shaktimaan’ is also going to come very soon,”

Sharing the video on his Twitter account, Mukesh Khanna wrote:

“130 crore Indians will together get the opportunity to watch Shaktiman on DD once again. Wait for the announcement.”
