A Man Donated Rs 501 To ‘PM Cares Fund’ And Got A Beautiful Reply From Narendra Modi

The outspread of COVID-19 has brought the whole world to a standstill and India is currently locked down for a period of 21 days to contain the outspread of the dangerous Coronavirus pandemic, that has gripped the whole world.

As the numbers have been increasing rapidly, PM Modi took to his twitter and urged everyone to donate whatever they can to combat the ongoing Coronavirus outspread.

And as soon as he announced, celebrities, cricketers and commoners started donating to PM CARES Fund. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who has always stood ahead of everyone when it comes to donation and helping the country, became the first one from Bollywood to pitch in and donate a whopping amount of Rs 25 crore to the PM-CARES fund. He took to his twitter and wrote:

“This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s  PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai.🙏🏻

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan also followed suit and pledged to donate 30 lakhs to the PM CARES Fund. He wrote:

“I pledge to contribute 30 lakhs to the PM CARE fund. We will over come this. Desh hai toh hum hain.”

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina was among the first cricketers to have pledged for the donation. He took to his twitter and pledged to donate 52 lakhs. He wrote:

It’s time we all do our bit to help defeat #COVID19. I’m pledging ₹52 lakh for the fight against #Corona (₹31 lakh to the PM-CARES Fund & ₹21 lakh to the UP CM’s Disaster Relief Fund). Please do your bit too. Jai Hind!#StayHomeIndia @narendramodi @PMOIndia @myogiadityanath”

Soon many cricketers and celebrities started donating towards the PM CARES Fund. Twitterati were all praises for these celebrities. However, not just Twitterati, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the gestures of the ones who are donating.

Appreciating Akshay Kumar for donating 25 crores, PM Modi wrote:

However, amidst many tweets regarding donation. A tweet from a twitter user who donated Rs 501 caught the attention of Prime Minister Modi. In his Tweet, the twitter user named Syed Atur Rahman wrote:

“Juss a little Donation For @narendramodi ji for #PMCARES to Fight Corona Virus Folded hands”

However, PM Modi lauded the gesture and expressed how big or little contribution doesn’t matter. He wrote:
