List Of Celebrities Who Have Contributed To Coronavirus Disaster Relief Fund

The world is going through the greatest medical crisis of the century due to coronavirus outbreak. The deadly virus Covid 19 is spreading rapidly all over the world. The total coronavirus cases detected till the date is 532, 926 and recovered from the disease cases is 124, 387 where the number of deaths is 24,094 according to worldmeters information.

India is also facing the farmhand of the pandemic and Government has already declared lockdown for the countrymen to protect them from the outbreak of Covid 19. According to worldmeters report, the total coronavirus cases in India are 747, recovered cases are 66 and death cases are 20. India is trying to fight back the situation by staying indoors in self-isolation.
Celebrities are doing their best to help out in this situation to create awareness from social media. They are donating the funds for the affected in this crucial stage.

The Thalaivar, Rajnikanth made a donation of Rs. 50 lakhs to the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) workers. The workers are impacted by the suspension of shooting films due to Covid 19 outbreak.


The Baahubali star Prabhas contributed total Rs. 4 crores for the cause. He has donated Rs 50 Lakhs each to Andhra Pradesh CM relief fund, Telangana CM relief fund and Rs. 3 crores to Prime Minister’s relief fund.

Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan donated total Rs. 2 crores for the relief fund of Government. He has donated Rs. 50 lakhs to each Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief Funds and Rs 1 crore to Prime Minister’s relief fund to fight back the pandemic.

P. V. Sindhu:

World champion shuttler P. V. Sindhu donated Rs. 10 lakhs to fight back the pandemic of coronavirus. Among this donation of Rs. 10 lakhs, she has given 5 lakhs to each Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for the cause.

Kapil Sharma:

The comedy superstar, Kapil Sharma contributed Rs. 50 lakhs to Prime Minister’s relief fund for the cause and announced the new from his twitter account.

Ram Charan:

One of the south film superstar Ram Charan also decided to donate for the cause. He will be donating Rs. 70 lakhs towards the centre and states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh relief fund to fight back the crisis.

The international singing sensation Lady Gaga has contributed from her makeup brand Haus Laboratories, 20 % of its sales this month to the L.A. Regional Food Bank and Food Bank for New York City and also for the people who are running short for foods and basic necessities.

Arnold Schwarzenegger:

The veteran actor Arnold Schwarzenegger made a contribution of $1 million to support medical and healthcare professionals in this crisis moment. He also built a fundraiser from his Instagram account and urged to his fans to step up and donate for the cause to support “Frontline Heroes”.


Rihanna’s non-profit organization ‘Clara Lionel Foundation’ donated $5 million to different organizations to support their relief fund for coronavirus most affected. This amount will directly help the local food bank of the countries like Haiti and Malawi, also will distribute the necessary resources in need of the situation.

The Oscar winner director Bon Joong-Ho for the movie Parasite has contributed more than $164,000 in South Korea to the coronavirus disaster relief efforts.
