Twitterati Can’t Stop Praising Yogi Adityanath After Meerut Police Latest Action Against Lockdown Offenders

The Indian government has been working in full force for the protection of citizens of the country and for the containment of Coronavirus, which has gripped the whole world. The number of infected people has been increasing rapidly, with the total number of infected patients has reached to more than 500 and has led to 10 deaths.

On Monday, the World Health Organization lauded the efforts of the Indian government by calling the measures taken by them as ‘robust and comprehensive’. Dr. Roderico Ofrin, Regional Emergencies Director of WHO, released a statement, that read:

“India has been rolling out a comprehensive and robust response to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19. Its latest announcements related to quarantine and social distancing measures, including recent lockdown of 75 affected districts, suspension of rail, inter-state bus services, and metro services are initiatives of unprecedented scale and reflect the country’s resolve to prevent the spread of the pandemic.”

While the whole country is following the orders of the government and almost all parts of the country are under the lockdown, there are many who aren’t following the orders and are breaking them by moving out on the streets.

However, seems like Meerut Police has found a perfect solution for these lawbreaking citizens of our country. Meerut Police are now naming and sh*ming everyone. They are making them hold up signs reading, “I am a friend of coronavirus,” or “I am the enemy of society,” before posting their pictures on Twitter.

Meerut Police have been sharing pictures of the lawbreakers with the signs in their hands on their Twitter handle, along with a series of Tweets in Hindi, that read:

#Coronavirus (COVID-19) जो सम्पूर्ण विश्व में महामारी की तरह फैल रहा है जिसे रोकने के लिए #meerutpolice द्वारा लॉकडाउन का पालन कराया जा रहा है परन्तु लॉकडाउन के दौरान समाज में कुछ ऐसे भी लोग है जिन्हे समाज की सुरक्षा की कोई फिक्र नही है #uppolice
