Deepika Padukone Challenged The Indian Captain Virat Kohli On Twitter

As the nation is facing the threat of novel coronavirus, Bollywood stars are also trying to create awareness from their platform by their actions and practices. Amidst the havoc of Covid 19, Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone posted an awareness challenge related to the protection from coronavirus to sports world heroes including Indian Blue Boys captain Virat Kohli.

The threat of coronavirus has equally shaken the Indian cricket world to Bollywood. The entertainment industry has been badly affected amidst the growing infection of Coronavirus. The shooting of the film and TV serial has been stopped. People are being advised to take precaution to avoid the effect of coronavirus. Many upcoming films release date and the promotional campaign has been rescheduled for the current situation. Middle of these, the actor Deepika Padukone shared an awareness video of cleaning hand till 20 seconds and more from her official Twitter handle.

In the 25 seconds video, Deepika has completed washing her hands withing 20 seconds which is the actual suggested time of washing hands by the experts. Deepika was nominated for this challenge by the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. In of oh his tweet, Dr Tedors also nominated for the hand wash challenge to Priyanka Chopra, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Christy Turlington along with Deepika.

The chain of creating an awareness challenge further moved by Deepika Padukone. Along with the hand cleaning video, Deepika wrote,

“Thank You @DrTedros, for nominating me for the #SafeHands Challenge!#COVID19 surely is an uphill health and public safety task, but all of us are in this fight together!I further nominate @rogerfederer,@Cristiano and @imVkohli to take up this challenge! #coronavirus #StaySafe”

She has nominated Indian Cricket team Captain Virat Kohli for safe hand challenge.  She has also nominated sports world stars including Swiss tennis star Roger Federer and Portugal’s famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo under the challenge of safe hand.

In India, four people have died due to coronavirus infection. Eight thousand people worldwide have lost their lives due to Corona.
