Actor Kiara Advani who recently shot for the A-lister favorite, Dabboo Ratnani Calendar, has confessed in an interview that she has been receiving a lot of intriguing and straight-up hateful comments and remarks on social media after she shared her calendar photo of herself on her social media handles. She further added that she had to switch off her DM options on her social media accounts to keep herself aloof from the criticism.
“I have switched off some of my DM notifications because I did get a lot of those suggestive ones. Especially after the leaf picture went up. I was like okay we can’t do this right now,” she said.
In the shoot, Kiara is seen topless hiding behind a huge, wild leaf. The entire look was sultry as she sported a clean make-up look with a wet, dewy pulled back hairstyle.
Soon it caught the right eyes of the internet where it attacked the photographer and the muse o have heavily plagiarised the entire composition of the photograph.
The memes and the trolls swarmed all over instantly by brutally mocking the photographs with different connotations.
As per Kiara, memes do not affect her. rather she takes them positively. “It is so funny and so flattering. I had even posted some of the memes that went viral. They were really funny. It’s okay. I think it’s just a form of flattery,” Kiara told IANS. We can only hope it is true!
Kiara was recently seen in Netflix original film Guilty. She earned praise from critics for her work in the film. “I play a character called Nanki in ‘Guilty’. She is an extremely layered and complex character. She is constantly wearing a mask. She is very far from who I am as a person. It was very interesting to understand the different shades of this character and get inside the skin of it,” she said when asked about her role in the film.
