Sara Ali Khan and Karthik Aaryan’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’ released last week and the initial response and ratings suggest that it has failed at the box-office. The majority of the critics have given Love Aaj Kal 2 stars and there is not even a handful of those who have praised it.
There was a lot of excitement among the lovers of Hindi cinema as the ‘original’ Love Aaj Kal did well at the box office and Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone’s chemistry was loved by one and all. However, the same can’t be said about Karthik and Sara’s on-screen chemistry.
In the last 20 days or so, Karthik and Sara made a lot of public appearances and television appearances for the promotion of Love Aaj Kal and there were in news almost every day. But, it’s a bit of disappointing for their fans that they were not able to reciprocate the same chemistry on the silver screen.
Sara Ali Khan is very popular among the youth for her inspirational transformation and beautiful looks. After the initial box-office numbers that suggest Love Aaj Kal has failed to make a big impact, Sara Ali Khan spoke for the first time and gave her reaction.
In an interview with a news portal, Sara Ali Khan said that she believes that it has only been a day, and to say anything would be unfair. Sara also said that she has mentioned the fact that as an actor her job is done before the film’s release and her job is to do what the director would ask of her, with complete conviction and honesty.
Sara Ali Khan also believes she has lived up to the expectations of her director and said that beyond that is for the audience to decide if it was a fruitful project or not. Having said that, Sara also mentioned that she is hopeful that the audience actually likes the film.
