Well, a mother-daughter duo from Northern California has left everyone talking about them. This mother-daughter duo is often mistaken for sisters by strangers and regularly leaves strangers stunned by revealing the 23-year age gap between them.
Yes, the mother-daughter duo has an age gap of 23-years but you’d easily confuse this duo to be young adults in their early 20s.
Joleen Diaz, the 43-year-old single mother, who is a full-time elementary teacher shares a very close bond with her daughter. From shopping to traveling, the mother-daughter duo literally does everything together. Taking all the compliments to her stride, Joleen said:
“I was pretty young when I had her, so it’s not entirely impossible that we could be sisters.”
Joleen, who with her magical powers of defying age, revealed that she takes good care of her skin and follows a vigorous skin regime to look youthful. She revealed that she started her skin-regime when she was only 12-years-old.
She also makes sure that her daughter also follows the good old-fashioned clean living regime for her skin. She said:
“I’ve always lived a healthy, active lifestyle. I rarely drink alcohol, I get a lot of rest, and eat a balanced, healthy diet. “
Joleen also spilled the details about her skin-care routine and turns out she doesn’t go a day without using Sunscreens. She said:
“I absolutely use sunscreen, every day, even on cloudy, rainy days. I also use a vitamin C serum day and night. “
