Many small traders across 300 cities of the country scheduled a protest against the visit of Jeff Bazos. Their obligation is that the firm is going to destroy the local retail market. But Amazon has committed an investment of $5.5 Billion with a vision of growing possibilities in India.

The 21st century will be the time of the US and India’s bilateral relationship based on the alliance as Mr. Bezos perceived. He mentioned “The dynamism, the energy… the growth. This country has something special and it’s a democracy,”

With his three days trip, Jeff Bezos paid homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat on the first day of his visit. He tweeted a video of the visit and wrote, “Just landed in India and spent a beautiful afternoon paying my respects to someone who truly changed the world. “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” – Mahatma Gandhi.”
