Sadhguru Trolled Javed Akhtar During A Live Debate

Over the past few days, a lot has happened in the country after the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Protests have continued to rage across the country with activists, lawyers, celebrities and students taking a stand against it.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are defending the Citizenship Amendment Bill to no avail.

Recently, Prime Minister Modi found another candidate to come to his defense about the CAA. On Monday, PM Modi tweeted a 20-minute video by Sadhguru, where he can be seen speaking in support of CAA.

Besides this, an old video of Sadhguru is making rounds on social media, where he can be seen trolling Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar. The viral video is from 2012’s debate on “Faith, Reasons and inner engineering”, where both Javed Akhtar and Sadhguru took part.

During the debate, Javed Akhtar kept mocking Sadhguru while implying how much he believes in “common sense” and that Sadhguru doesn’t make sense. During the conversation, Sadhguru then trolled Javed Akhtar hilariously by saying:

“When I met Javed Sahab last time, he told me that some Guru told him not to use his mind. I do not know which guru asked him to do this but one thing is clear that he has taken the advice quite seriously.”

Meanwhile, Javed Akhtar is always on the target of trolls and is always at the receiving end of criticism for his Tweets and statements on various social issues.
