Twitterati Gave Hilarious Responses After IPL’s Official Account Tweeted “SRK Is Unsold”

The year 2019 is ending on a high note for the Mumbai Indians as they won the IPL’s trophy for the fourth time. And now as the year is ending and the next season of the Indian Premier League is just a few months away, fans are waiting anxiously for the next season of IPL.

On Thursday, as IPL 2020 auctions took place, all the franchises engaged in a fierce bidding war to ensure that they rope in the best players in their team.

As per Business Standard, Kolkata Knight Riders bid Rs.15.5 crore for Australian pacer Pat Cummins and Rajasthan Royals bid for 17-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal. While many big names went under the hammer, there were many who remained unsold including Yusuf Pathan, Mushfiqur Rahim etc.

Among many, Tamil Nadu player Shahrukh Khan also remained unsold as no franchise signed him. The same was informed, in a tweet, by the official twitter handle of the ‘Indian Premier League, who were continuously giving updates about the auctions through their Twitter handle.

Giving update about Shahrukh Khan, the cricketer, Indian Premier League wrote:

“Shahrukh Khan is unsold”
