The complete country is saddened after the demise of the former Prime Minister Shri.Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The former PM was cremated at Smriti Sthal with full state honours. His funeral pyre was lit by his adopted daughter Namita Bhattacharya.
Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji was given a gun salute on the banks of the Yamuna in Delhi in the presence of PM Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, MAnmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi and many others.
In 2004’s Lok Sabha Elections, the former PM was given an affidavit in which his total movable assets were 30 lakh 99 thousand 232 rupees. His total immovable property’s worth is 28,00,000. Being the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee used to get a monthly pension of Rs 20,000. Apart from this, he used to get Rs.6000 for office management.

The former Prime Minister has a flat in Delhi’s East of Kailash and an ancestral house. It is being believed that Atal Bihari’s property will be given to his daughter and son-in-law.
The former Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihar Vajpayee passed away on Thursday evening at the age of 93 years old . He was admitted since last 9 weeks at AIIMS. He was on life support since a few days. He was admitted to AIIMS on June 11 with a kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection, low urine output and chest congestion. After fighting a battle with his life, he took his last breathe today.
A seven-day nationwide mourning till August 22 for three-time Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been declared.
