The fourth encounter of men in blue against the Windies turned out to be a one-sided affair in favor of the Indian cricket team as they defeated the visitors by 224 runs. The Indian cricket team is currently leading the ODI series by 2-1 with one match remaining in Thiruvananthapuram.

Amidst the match, we witnessed a mini-battle on the field that took place between Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli. It was in the second innings when Kieran Powell and Chandrapaul Hemraj of Windies were playing their knock and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the Indian fast bowler was delivering his over. In the fourth delivery, the left-hander opened his account for himself as well as for his team.

Bhuvneshwar churned out a back-of-a-length delivery that shaped away from Hemraj. He wrongly judged the ball and went on to the backfoot and punched the ball through the off side and the ball raced away. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, ran behind the ball.

In the beginning of this little race, the skipper was leading, however, soon Ravindra Jadeja beat him at it and reached the ball. Jadeja made a sliding stop and parried the leather back to Kohli. Virat slowed down when he realized Jadeja has surpassed him.

Here, have a look at the video of the race :

Later, Virat Kohli dismissed Powel with a run out in the sixth over. He has been giving some extra-ordinary performances with his bat as well. Jadeja, on the other hand, did a brilliant job with the ball as he conceeded only 39 runs in his 10 over and dismissed fast bowler Keemo Paul as well.
