Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper is currently ruling the internet, all thanks to his consistent brilliant performances. Be it overseas or at home, be it in Tests, ODIs or T20is, Virat Kohli is smashing the bowlers and creating records without even breaking a sweat.

Yesterday, the men in blue won the fifth and final match of the ODI series against Windies by 9 wickets. Virat Kohli, who gave consistently brilliant performances throughout the series and grabbed his seventh Man of the Series award in ODIs.

With a staggering 453 runs under his belt, including three continuous centuries, Virat Kohli finished off the series as the highest run-getter in the just concluded ODI series and thus was awarded with the man of the series award.

Sachin Tendulkar was all praises for the Indian skipper. Praising him, Sachin said that he always saw that spark in him and said that he is the leading players of all time. He said :

“Coming to Virat’s development as a player, I think he has developed immensely. And I always saw that spark in him. I always felt that he is going to be one of the leading players in the world, not just of this generation, but one of the leading players of all time,”

Virat Kohli is always compared with Sachin Tendulkar for his destructive batting, the two of them are the best batsmen India ever produced and therefore people don’t stop comparing these two. Talking about the comparisons, Sachin said that he never believed in comparisons. He said:

“And then it is again about opinions. But if one has to go into comparisons, then I don’t want to get into that. There were different bowlers who played in 60s, 70s, 80s, and possibly in my time and what they are playing today. So I wouldn’t want to get into that,”

Well, we completely agree with him. While we believe Virat is the modern legend of the game, we also believe that there can never be anyone like the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar.
