The second innings for England cricket team started with a bang from the Indian cricket team’s side. The Indian bowlers were on fire today. The talented off-spiner of Indian cricket team, Ravichandran Ashwin gave a powerful start to Indian cricket team by taking the wicket of opener Joe Root.

The England’s batsmen were looking out to build a strong partnership to put pressure on the Indian cricket team, however, Ishant Sharma was in no mood to let that happen. He bundled up all the top and middle order players of England cricket team.Utilizing all his experience in the match, Ishant Sharma took five wickets in the match.

Ishant removed Jonny Bairstow (28) and Ben Stokes (6) just at the stroke of lunch even as England lost the key wickets of opener Keaton Jennings (8), skipper Joe Root (14), Dawid Malan (20) and Stuart Broad(11) in regular intervals.

After England’s wickets were bundled up, it was the turn of Indian cricketers to take over the team. The Indian openers, Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan had a daunting task ahead of them, however, Stuart Broad was in a much greater form. He dismissed Murali Vijay with an inswinger and removed Dhawan in the eighth over to put pressure on the Indian squad.

KL Rahul was also dismissed after a few shots by Ben Stokes. Ajinkya Rahane’s travails continued as he was sent back to pavilion as Sam Curran picked up his first wicket of the second innings. R.Ashwin and Hardik Pandya’s wickets also fell early leaving all the responsibilities on Virat Kohli’s shoulders.
