The ever so glamorous and heartthrob of millions in India and around the world, the king Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood, and the undisputed king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan has been doing multifaceted tasks. From a movie star, to a producer, to a businessman – he is flamboyant in his own way.

Even with his new TV show TED talks India, where he is seen touching hearts of millions of Indians where he focuses on different ways of sharing novice ideas… Shahrukh welcomes new guests on every show and makes it a very appropriately informative and educative show with a lot of positives to be taken for the audience at large.

In one of his recent episodes, the captian of the Indian women’s cricket team is expected to grace the show.

Mitali Raj is The Padma Shri awardee who broke the world record last year by becoming the highest run-getter in one-day international cricket surpassing the record of England captain Charlotte Edwards of 5992 runs.

When she was on the show, Shah Rukh Khan didn’t miss the opportunity to praise her outstanding Shahrukh seemed so impressed with her cricket that he requested her to coach his IPL men’s team, Kolkata Knight Riders, which is already one of the most successful teams in the recent past, winning 2 titles..

On his request, Mitali replied that “I would give it my best” if this happens eventually. Mitali spoke to Shahrukh even before the start of the show and she spoke about her life on the show, her struggles to make her career into cricket, as making a sporting career in our country for a lady is knowingly very difficult.

She also spoke about the effort she had to put it to make her career reach to the place she has made to, to becoming the highest run scorer of the world and to lead the country’s team reach the finals of the world cup last year.

About the show, SRK had earlier said, “People will share stories about changes in society, in life — whether it’s about the climate, dangerous diseases or to help empower women — and all of this will be integrated.

There are some beautiful stories — both Indian and international — which the team is planning to get on one platform and do a nice mix of Hindi and English speakers. I feel it will be a niche show.”
