Today it is the birthday of our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On his birthday today, the social media is flooded with the posts and messages for him from across the country.
Four years back on May 26 was the day when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India and took the charge of government. Ever since he became the PM he launched many bold movements that left us surprised.

- Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan :
When we talk about the most successful movements of PM Modi, Swachch Bharat tops the list. The Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan was launched on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, on 2 October 2014. PM Modi took the complete country on the cleanliness drive with a motive to make India clean by 2019. The plan involved providing sanitary services and Toilet in the rural areas, so that people stop the open defecation. And his dream of making India clean is taking shape with the help of great efforts from citizens of India and also the government of India.
2. Digital India :
Digital India campaign was launched on August 21, 2014 with the motive of changing India into the electronic empowered economy. The movement included major components including Digital literacy, Digital Infrastructure and Digital delivery. It is also one of the most successful plans of PM Modi.
3. Surgical Strikes :
After around 10 days of URI attacks, which left everyone shocked with the death of 18 Jawans. Narendra Modi approved surgical strikes where our Indian army killed nearly 45 terrorist and 9 Army men of Pakistan.
4. Surprise Pakistan Visit :
It was for the first time that a Prime Minister visited the rival nation. Narendra Modi made a surprise visit in Pakistan in 2015 to meet Nawaz Sharif. Although, the visit created a lot of buzz but it was highly appreciated as well.
5. Demonetization :
Demonetization was the most boldest move of PM Modi, which created a lot of buzz across the country. On 8 November 2016, PM Modi launched two new currency notes of Rs.500 and 2000, while he banned the old notes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000, which took everyone with shock. Later it was reported by the Reserve Bank Of India, that Rs 15.31 lakh crores were returned to the banking regularities.
6. GST :
On 29 March 2017, the Lok Sabha agree to pass four important GST (Goods And Services Tax) bills, which brought the company closer to the sales tax regime.
7. Strong Foreign Relations :
Although, he is criticized a lot for his traveling but today India has the strongest foreign relations than it ever had. He has traveled to Australia, China, Japan, Thailand, Myanmar, Fiji, Vietnam, South Korea, Laos and Singapore in a bid Good relation in the Easter part of the world.
8. National Health Protection Scheme :
On 1 February 2018, the Finance Minister of India, Arun Jaitley introduced the healthcare project, which is being claimed as the largest healthcare scheme in the world. With the scheme NHPS aims to provide Insurance facility to 100 million families in India.
9. Better Road to connect with Rural and Urban areas :
To provide better roads to connect with Rural and Urban areas, PM Modi launched Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
10. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana :
During his first speech as Prime Minister of India on Independence Day in the year 2014, PM Narendra Modi launched Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. India made it to the world’s record on the first day of this scheme itself as 1.5 crore bank accounts were opened on the first day of this scheme.
