Yes, as the Pakistan’s Independence Day is approaching, there was an event held at New York, where Atif Aslam was performing. However, when he sang a few of his hit Bollywood number, it irked his Pakistani fans. Not just this, there were some rumors, that he declined to wave the Pakistani flag.

However, Atif Aslam hitted back at the haters with a strong reply stating that he respects his country and the national flag. And he didn’t disrespected the Pakistani flag in any way. Which roughly translates to :

“I know how to respect the flag well. Moreover, I thank the fans who know how to reply to fake propoganda. I hope people of New Pakistan start respecting those people who have made Pakistan proud all over the world.”

Well, we really hope that this reply from a singer like him will stop the haters from spreading fake rumors about him, afterall, Music and art has no religion and what’s such a big deal if he sang a good Indian song just to entertain the fans?
